Job Information

Drcom APAC is looking for an experienced Account Manager to join us! The Account Manager role has a key role in maintaining satisfaction and nurturing new sale opportunities on existing clients in Asia. This position require flexibility to support clients, worked with our off-shore production and ensure good team spirit. The Account Manager will act as key person supervising the excellence of projects from briefing to delivery. The Account Manager must have strong experience in digital agency, understanding of medical, pharmaceutical is a strong plus.

Account Manager – Bangkok, Thailand

Key duties:

  • Support and represent Drcom clients as Account Manager.
  • Understand Drcom capabilities and services offering.
  • Understand Veeva and all relevant technologies related to our field of work.
  • Manage and create long-term partnership with Drcom strategic accounts to develop business (business develop on new Lead and farming of existing accounts) to support company’s growth.
  • Understand customer’s strategies & requirements. This includes being able to provide clients with strategic recommendations and support.
  • Participating to RFP including preparation, pitch and follow-up.
  • Is the gate keeper of Account processes and knowledge.
  • Daily servicing and support of accounts. Meeting clients to discuss their needs having researched their business and requirements, prepare and present campaign ideas and budget and SOWs. Keeping in contact with the client at all stages of the campaign.
  • Maintaining customer relationships and ensuring customer loyalty through excellence.
  • Working as part of a team and closely with other departments (Thinkers, Creators, Makers) within the organization to identify potential issues and/or opportunities within or related to the project and ensure smooth deliveries.
  • The Account Manager is responsible for accounts growth and quality of all projects delivered. Project Management is an inherited skills of the Account Manager.
  • The Account Manager will manage his/her Account Executive and ensure leadership, coordination, and management of his/her team.
  • Work with strong autonomy, proactivity and under pressure, providing regular input on all account activities. This includes managing forecast/CRM to report and forecast all opportunities.
  • Ensure a proactive reporting to his/her manager – inclusive of weekly business review.
  • Account manager is also responsible for managing projects budget/margin/PO and follow her invoicing on a weekly review.

Project & People Management:

  • Working as part of a team and closely with other departments (Thinkers, Creators, Makers) within the organization.
  • Comply with our company processes, ERP (such as for timesheets) and company regulations.
  • Work with strong autonomy, proactivity and under pressure, reporting to the Managing Director, providing regular input on all account activities.


Travel might be required to meet customers in Asia and other regions as required.

Job Requirements


  • Educational Background: At least Bachelor Degree with a major in marketing, communications, advertisement, media, digital, public relations, etc.
  • >4 years’ experience in similar capacity in creative/media/digital agencies.
  • Fluent professional English.

Required skills:

  • Fluent business English is a mandatory requirement.
  • Good digital understanding including multi-channel Engagement in the healthcare industry regulation context.
  • Basic knowledge about scientific journal, knowledge of the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or science is a plus.
  • High service orientation and ability to build a professional and long-term partnership with our clients.
  • Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills to offer client recommendations and expertise.
