DESCRIPTION:
As a Business Development Manager at DRSG, your primary role will be to foster business growth and expand our customer base within the healthcare sector. You will report directly to the Chief Sales Officer and Chief Executive Officer and be responsible, but not limited to – for the following:
KEY DUTIES WILL BE:
- Lead Generation and Qualification:
- Actively seeking and qualify leads through various channels, including proactive research and promotional calls.
- Identify hidden business opportunities and pursue new prospects at the global, regional, or local level.
- The region covered is South-East Asia & Oceania
- Client Engagement: Schedule and lead meetings with potential clients, with the support of Account Managers and senior management.
- Proposal Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design compelling Request for Proposal (RFP) proposals, with the aim of converting opportunities into projects.
- Contract Negotiation: Design and negotiate contracts and Master Services Agreements (MSA) in collaboration with the legal team.
- Opportunities Oversight:
- Collaborate with Account Managers throughout the project lifecycle, from RFP to Purchase Order, to optimize project revenues and margins.
- Review weekly project reports from Account Managers, focusing on budget, timeline, and quality issues to ensure client and satisfaction post-selling.
- Networking:
- Lead and organize regular networking activities, such as lunches or coffee meetings, to foster client relationships.
- Attend partner events to expand our network and business opportunities.
- Competitor Analysis: Identify competitors during the RFP process and liaise with the Marketing Manager to develop competitive strategies.
- Market Analysis:
- Enhance your knowledge of local markets in Singapore and other countries where our offices are located.
- Analyze market trends and provide recommendations to adapt the company’s business strategy and offerings accordingly.
- Reporting: Submit weekly reports and lead the Business Development weekly business meeting, utilizing DRCOM CRM for mandatory reporting.
- Suggest improvement to improve BD
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Proven experience in business development, preferably in the healthcare sector.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent networking and relationship-building capabilities.
- Knowledge of local and international markets.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools and project management software.
- Willingness to work beyond regular hours, when necessary.
