Job Information

As a Technical Development Manager, you will work closely with all project stakeholders: Creative, Program Department, and external technology partners. You are expected to earn the technical component of all clients' projects, starting from defining the technical objectives, planning to manage the execution.

DESCRIPTION:

Technical Development Manager balances the planning and managing to deliver and maintain stable, scalable, cost-effective project execution.

KEY DUTIES WILL BE:

  • Earn the technical component part in all our clients’ projects: define the technical objective, implementation plan, technology resources & budgets, issues and action logs, risk assessments, contingency plans, and other documentation as needed
  • Direct and manage processes with external technology partners that effectively measure and manage deliverables, stakeholder satisfaction, requirement compliance, and financial performance
  • Ensure the quality, performance, and stability of technical deliverables meet project’s objective
  • Continuously review code, technical documentation, and coding standards of our technology partners. Identify and manage technical dependencies and risks
  • Conduct necessary research to achieve desired outcomes and self-train on the newest technology
  • Active reporting and documentation in all stages of projects are required

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Technical skill:

  • Expert in C#, NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET (Core), MVC, Web API, Entity Framework (Core) and SQL Server
  • Strong knowledge of programming patterns and principles e.g Separation of Concern, Repository Pattern, UnitOfWork, DRY, SOLID etc.
  • Experienced in software design and application architectures
  • Good at source code management, continuous integration and continuous deployment
  • Good knowledge of CMS, CRM system such as SharePoint, Microsoft Dynamics is a plus

Communication skill:

English is a must. Working closely with other departments with different skill profiles is required, therefore, Technical Development Manager should be independent, goal-oriented, and flexible in communication.

Problem-solving skill:

The ability to identify, detect and understand problems as they arise. The job holder is expected to work independently and combine various skills such as research, analyze, risk management to make decision.

DESIRED PROFILES:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years working as a Developers in digital projects
  • Familiarity with creative design, marketing and multimedia is a plus
  • Experience in Medical or Life Science Industries is a plus
