We work with a diverse range of clients to bring their visions to life through compelling visuals and engaging content. We are seeking a skilled Shoot Assistant to support our photoshoots and videoshoots for client projects. The Shoot Assistant will work closely with our creative team and photographers/videographers to ensure the smooth execution of each shoot, from pre-production to post-production.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in pre-production tasks, including location scouting, talent coordination, and equipment setup.
- Provide on-set support during photoshoots and videoshoots, ensuring that all necessary equipment and props are in place.
- Assist with lighting setups and adjustments to achieve the desired visual aesthetic.
- Manage wardrobe changes, props, and other elements during the shoot.
- Coordinate with the creative team to ensure that the client’s vision is realized during the shoot.
- Assist in basic video editing tasks, such as trimming footage, adding simple transitions, and applying basic color correction.
- Assist in post-production tasks, such as file organization, photo/video editing support, and asset delivery.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor on set, ensuring a collaborative and efficient working environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in assisting with photoshoots and/or videoshoots is preferred.
- Knowledge of photography and videography equipment, lighting techniques, and industry best practices.
- Basic video editing skills, with proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work on evenings or weekends as needed, depending on shoot schedules..
