Drcom Group is looking for an Art Director (ADR) to join us! ADR is a key partner in our creative team within our Creators department. The ideal candidate is a highly talented creative person, with solid experienced in art direction and communication campaign excellence focused on digital platforms. You will join a creative team of designers and life science copywriters to create outstanding healthcare digital communication material for healthcare professionals and patients on a regional or global scale. There will be a heavy emphasis on quality control, team collaboration (team training and managing the freelancers in our network), in directing art creation aligned to client/business priorities and creative objectives.

You will join a creative team of designers and life science copywriters to create outstanding healthcare digital communication material for healthcare professionals and patients on a regional or global scale. How you will make a difference

  • To conceptualize and develop key visuals, develop campaigns including but not limited to – brand visual identity, localize global materials, propose innovative creative executions with use of emerging technologies
  • See projects from start to finish – from understanding client requirements/brief, preparing presentations to applying revisions
  • Able to present and explain ideas to the internal team, especially the Creative Manager or Creative Director
  • You will develop art direction for the best in class communication campaigns for a wild variety of projects including digital platform development, mobile app, VR…
  • Strategic thinking that can crack the briefs in creative, compelling, effective ways.
  • You will produce and supervise outstanding art creation and design process that will enhance medical communication.
  • You will train and guide designers to develop design ideas and partner with a network of external content specialists to develop dynamic content.
  • You will find and nurture great relationships with freelancers and collaborate with them on a variety of projects.
  • You bring a solid understanding of current digital technologies and design trends.
    Solid knowledge of creative production, art direction, graphic design and typography.
  • You will coordinate creative activities and advise clients about the best direction to take.
  • You will manage creative projects in terms of art direction, ensuring ideas and visuals remain at the highest quality possible.

Skills – You possess and are good at:

  • Communication skills to be able to guide clients.
  • Strong concept visualization experience.
  • Solid understanding and advocacy of digital design and design trends.
  • Working knowledge of existing and emerging trends in design and digital technologies.
  • Ability to translate marketing strategy into persuasive ideas and visuals.

Qualifications – Must-have requirements:

  • Must have agency experience as creative (at least 2 years as Art Director) in advertising agency/ media agency or inhouse agency
  • Must have high proficiency in photo manipulation as well as illustration – use of Photoshop, Illustrator or similar platforms (proficiency in Figma is a plus)
  • Must have AI knowledge or willing to learn
  • Solid understanding of digital platform creation and digital storytelling.
  • Solid understanding of UI/UX fundamentals.
  • Must be willing and eager to COLLABORATE with multi-cultural team and interdisciplinary departments
  • Must speak English fluently (reading and writing). You will work with people from all around the world.
  • Ability to work with and supervise a team of creative freelancers, junior designers and the will to share knowledge with others.
  • Experience working with pharmaceutical brands is optional
