Description:
We are seeking a talented Freelance Editorial and Design Checker to join our team at drcom, a leading global marketing agency specializing in healthcare, life sciences, and pharmaceutical industries. As a freelance, part-time position, you will play a crucial role in assisting in editorial tasks and design checks for our products. The ideal candidate will ensure that our content is error-free, visually appealing, and aligns with our brand guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Review and edit written content for clarity, coherence, grammar, and punctuation.
- Verify the accuracy of technical information and ensure it is presented in a user-friendly manner.
- Collaborate with the design team to review visual elements, including layouts, fonts, and images.
- Ensure that design materials adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistency across all platforms.
- Provide constructive feedback to improve the overall quality of our products.
- Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work consistently.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in editorial work, preferably in a tech-related field.
- Strong command of the English language and excellent writing skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to spot errors in written content.
- Familiarity with design principles and an eye for aesthetics.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Availability to work remotely and meet project deadlines.
- A portfolio showcasing previous editorial and design projects is highly desirable.
